Frauenmanteltee, Filterbeutel

Frauenmantel wächst als 30 bis 50 cm hohe mehrjährige Staude und kommt überall auf der nördlichen Erdhalbkugel vor, dort ist er auf feuchten Wiesen, an Bachufern, auf Feldern, in lichten Wäldern und in Gärten zu finden. Seine rundflächig, ausgebreiteten Blattschalen sind fünf- bis neunlappig gefaltet, am Rand gekerbt und weich behaart. Er hat kleine, gelbgrüne Blüten, welche in doldige Rispen wachsen. Geerntet wird der Frauenmantel von Mai bis August, hier werden nur die Blätter mit Stiel in der Blütezeit gesammelt wenn der Tau abgetrocknet ist. Bei bestimmten Witterungsbedingungen schwitzen die Blätter aus ihren speziellen Poren Wasser aus, welches sich in Tröpfchen auf ihnen sammelt wie Tau. Kenner nutzen Frauenmantel daher auch zur Wettervorhersage.

Zubereitung Fertigbeutel:
1 oder mehrere Beutel mit ca. 150 ml siedendem Wasser übergießen. 10 - 15 Minuten ziehen lassen.
